We’re on the hunt for a Creative Director with experience in creating things at the intersection of culture and brands, to lead our London team.

As we enter the next exciting stage of our journey, we’re looking for an experienced and inspiring creative leader to help lead the way.

From entertainment to experiential, branding to cultural programming –our strength is our ability to adapt to whatever formats and medium is best for each project. The right person for this role will be equally comfortable developing strategy, conceptual ideas and tactical executions across a broad range of applications.

But the work itself is only part of this role – people are the other key part. From working closely with the founders, to our internal team, global network of collaborators and the brand teams we work with, your ability to foster relationships built on trust and respect is what really enables you to create the best work possible.

We're looking for you to...

  • Lead our creative team and network of collaborators: From inspiration and education, to motivation and support, you'll work closely with our internal team both as individuals and as a collective to ensure they have everything they need to thrive. You'll also be fostering and growing our global network of creative and cultural collaborators to ensure we have the best possible partners to bring in on relevant projects.

  • Develop close relationships with our brand partners: Building a rich understanding of the commercial objectives and other internal considerations that enable us to ensure we're putting the right creative opportunities forward, and giving them the best chance of being bought.

  • Uphold the quality of the work: Ensuring everything we do connects brands and culture in more valuable ways, and is Something™ we're proud to put our name to by communicating effectively to deliver clarity, understanding, excitement, alignment and buy-in from all stakeholders.

  • Grow the business: Working closely with the founders and leadership to champion the Something™ way of doing things, increasing brand awareness to grow our network of partners and refining the vision of where we're going, and how we're going to get there.

ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for a creative, experienced and inspiring creative leader with proven experience in delivering culturally-impactful work and strong people management skills.

You’ve got at least 3-ish years experience as a Creative Director in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment – working with big brands to deliver culturally-impactful projects across a range of mediums and formats.

The right person for this role will:

  • Have a portfolio that displays an excellent track record of innovative, relevant & compelling creative work across a broad range of formats and mediums.

  • Be both inspired and inspiring. You know that big ideas are only part of what it takes to be a creative leader and you’re equally as passionate about strategy, culture, process and the ‘shiny’ output.

  • Champion a culture of curiosity and collaboration while taking accountability for the quality of everything that goes in and out of the studio. You keep momentum and quality up by knowing when to give guidance and support, when to step back and let others lead and when to roll your sleeves up to pitch in to help get it done

  • Posses a great understanding of the cultural zeitgeist and an abundance of relevant references, combined with the ability to guide iconic ideas from brief, through to presentation and execution.

  • Value the commercial side of creative work, and understand the importance of investing time to set projects up for success by working closely with our production team to accurately scope, define processes, inform project planning and validate budgets.
